Robert Baser, Painter and Sculptor was born in 1908, in Athens and immigrated to Israel in 1934. Prizes: 1929 National Prize, Greece; 1946, 1969 Dizengoff Prize; 1951 "Sea" Exhibition Prize; 1991 Israel Discount Bank Prize. 1948 Member of New Horizons Group. He died in 1998
